Plot

Based on a Satyajit Ray short story and directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Anukul follows a mild-mannered Hindi teacher in a near-future Kolkata who brings home a humanoid robot. As the household adjusts, the film probes ethics, artificial intelligence and human insecurity, building to a quietly unsettling conclusion. Saurabh Shukla and Parambrata Chatterjee star.
